OIL INDIA : PARTNERS WITH CANADA'S PTRC FOR CLEAN ENERGY & CCUS RESEARCH 🇮🇳🇨🇦♻️
• 🤝 Oil India signed a collaboration framework with Canada's Petroleum Technology Research Centre (PTRC) at the Global Energy Show 2026 in Calgary • 🌍 Partnership focuses on Carbon Capture, Utilization & Storage (CCUS), geothermal energy and clean energy technologies • 🛢️ Collaboration includes utilization and permanent storage of captured CO₂ through geological sequestration and mineralization • ⚡ Joint work on enhanced oil recovery (EOR) technologies to improve production while reducing environmental impact • 🔬 Both entities will explore geothermal projects, subsurface energy research and innovation-led clean energy solutions • 🚀 OIL and PTRC will also collaborate with m2c+ startups platform under the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas 🟢 Impact: Positive (Strengthens OIL India's energy transition strategy, enhances technological capabilities and supports long-term sustainability initiatives.)
