POWERGRID DECLARED SUCCESSFUL BIDDER FOR INTER-STATE TRANSMISSION PROJECT
POWERGRID has been declared the successful bidder for the "Transmission system for proposed Green Hydrogen / Green Ammonia projects in Kakinada area (Phase-I)" on Build, Own, Operate and Transfer (BOOT) basis. The Letter of Intent (LoI) was received on June 12, 2026. The project involves establishing a new 765/400kV GIS Sub-station with STATCOM and 765kV transmission line works in Andhra Pradesh.
