ENDURANCE TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED : CAPACITY ADDITION FOR LITHIUM-ION BATTERY PACKS
• Announced commencement of commercial production of Lithium-Ion Battery packs. • Evaluated and decided to expand manufacturing capacity at the existing facility in Mindewadi, Pune. • Proposed capacity addition of 3,640 battery packs per month for four-wheelers. • Capacity addition expected to be completed in Q3 of the current financial year. • Investment required is ~₹62 crore (net of GST Tax credit). • Mode of financing is internal accruals. • Rationale includes launching battery packs as a new product line for mobility and energy storage, meeting anticipated growth. • Company is in advanced stage of discussion with a four-wheeler EV OEM for supply of these battery packs.
