TATAPOWER : ACQUISITION OF RYAPTE POWER TRANSMISSION LIMITED WORTH OVER RS 521.07 CR

• Received Letter of Intent (LOI) from REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited for acquisition of Ryapte Power Transmission Limited, a project special purpose vehicle (SPV). • The project will be developed on a Build-Own-Operate Transfer basis for 35 years from the Scheduled Commercial Operation Date (SCOD). • Scope includes constructing approximately 250 km line route comprising 400 kV D/C line, 220 kV D/C line, and 220 kV Underground cable. • Project also includes establishing two green field substations: Ryapte (400/220 kV AIS) and Doddathaggalli (400/220 kV GIS). • Estimated Annual Transmission Charges are ₹521.07 crore. • The award is placed on the Company for a period of 35 years.
