BHARTI AIRTEL LTD RAISED RS 62.4 CR FUNDS FROM QIB @ ₹426.5/SHARE

• Bharti Airtel has completed the acquisition of 595,204,251 shares (~16.3% stake) of Airtel Africa from ICIL. • Bharti Airtel's effective stake in Airtel Africa has increased to ~79%. • The Special Committee of Directors for Preferential Issue approved the allotment of 146,761,335 equity shares of face value ₹5 each to ICIL. • ICIL holds ~3.25% of the total post-issue equity share capital of the Company.
