IRCON : BOARD APPROVES APPOINTMENT OF SALEEM AHMAD AS CMD, CEO AND KMP

• Shri Saleem Ahmad appointed as Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) on additional charge, also designated as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Key Managerial Personnel (KMP). • Appointment for a period of 01 year w.e.f. the date of assumption of additional charge of the post of CMD, IRCON on or after 01.07.2026 or till assumption of charge by the regular incumbent. • Board also commented on fines levied by exchanges for non-compliance with SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 regarding composition of the Board and its committees for the quarter ended March 31, 2026. • Company stated that as a Government Company, directors are appointed by the President of India through Ministry of Railways and IRCON has no role in their appointment. • IRCON has continuously requested Ministry of Railways for appointment of requisite number of Independent Directors. • The company considers the levy of fine unreasonable and not applicable to IRCON.
