POWERGRID EXPANSION: COMMISSIONING OF SOLAR ENERGY PROJECT
• Commissioning of project namely “Transmission scheme for Solar Energy Zone in Ananthpuram (Ananthpuram) (2500 MW) and Kurnool (1000 MW), Andhra Pradesh” completed. • Project commissioned with effect from 24th June, 2026. • Notification for Commercial Operation (DOCO) dated 25th June, 2026 received via email on 26th June, 2026. • The project was entrusted to POWERGRID Ananthpuram Kurnool Transmission Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary, which was amalgamated with POWERGRID Khawda II-C Transmission Limited w.e.f. 01st March 2026.
