VIKRAM SOLAR : NCLAT SETS ASIDE NCLT ORDER ON INSOLVENCY PETITION

• National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) set aside the order dated 12 June 2026 passed by the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), Kolkata Bench. • The NCLT order had admitted the application filed by Isitva Steels Private Limited under Section 9 of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016. • The NCLAT order stated that the petition ought not to have been admitted as the amount of the claim was less than ₹1 crore. • The amount of ₹91,98,556/- deposited by the Appellant is to be refunded.
