SUPREME ENGINEERING LIMITED : CIRP ADMITTED BY NCLT
• National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) Mumbai bench admitted the corporate insolvency resolution process (CIRP) application filed by Bank of India against Supreme Engineering Limited. • The tribunal has declared a moratorium under section 14 of the IBC and appointed Mr. S. Gopalakrishnan as the Interim Resolution Professional (IRP). • Bank of India filed the application under section 7 of the IBC, claiming an amount of Rs. 117.50 crore in default. Impact: CIRP admitted against the company.
