SYNGENE INTERNATIONAL : SIDDHARTH MITTAL APPOINTED AS NEW MD & CEO

• Siddharth Mittal assumed the role of Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Syngene International, effective 1 July 2026. • He succeeds Peter Bains, who completed his tenure on 30 June 2026. • Mittal brings nearly three decades of business leadership experience and joins from Biocon Limited, where he was Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer. • Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw, Executive Chairperson, Syngene International, welcomed Mittal's ability to lead through change and build strong teams. • Mittal stated his immediate priority is to sharpen commercial edge, strengthen delivery excellence, and bring greater focus to execution.
