ASTER DM HEALTHCARE : MERGER COMPLETE AND OPERATIONS COMMENCE
• Aster DM Healthcare and Quality Care India Limited (QCIL) have successfully completed their merger. • The combined entity, Aster DM Quality Care Limited, will operate under four brands: Aster DM, CARE Hospitals, Evercare, and KIMSHEALTH. • The merged entity begins operations with 39 hospitals across 28 cities and over 10,600 beds. • Focus on expanding specialist care and advanced treatment beyond metros into tier 2 and tier 3 cities. • Dr. Azad Moopen will serve as Executive Chairman and Mr. Varun Khanna as Managing Director and Group CEO. Impact: Merger completion creates a larger healthcare platform with an expanded reach and service offering.
