ASHIANA HOUSING LTD : CORPORATE ANNOUNCEMENT

• The Income Tax Department, Delhi, has levied penalties amounting to ₹2,08,286/- and ₹20,000/- under section 271C and 271H of the Income Tax Act, 1961. • For section 271C, a penalty of ₹2,08,286/- was demanded for non-deduction and non-deposit of TDS under Section 194-I on annual lease rentals paid to UIT (Bhiwadi) for FY 2013-14. • For section 271H, a penalty of ₹20,000/- was levied for delay in filing of TDS Statements (Form Type 27Q and 24Q) for FY 2013-14. • The company has already deposited TDS, along with applicable interest on 23rd December 2025, and is exploring legal avenues to contest these orders. • No significant impact on financial or operational performance has been observed.
