ZYDUS LIFESCIENCES : EXPANDS CANCER SCREENING WITH SHIELD TEST

• Zydus Lifesciences has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Apollo Hospitals to offer the Shield™™ Multi-Cancer Detection (MCD) test in India. • The Shield MCD test is a methylation-based blood test designed to detect multiple cancer types in individuals aged 45 or older. • The test has received Breakthrough Device Designation from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). • This collaboration aims to expand access to innovative cancer screening technology in India. • Impact: Positive (Expansion into a new cancer screening technology through a strategic partnership with Apollo Hospitals.)
