DCM SHRIRAM : UPDATE ON MATERIAL TAX LITIGATION

• The company received an order from the Income-tax Appellate Tribunal (ITAT), New Delhi for AY 2022-23 dated July 3, 2026. • ITAT has provided relief concerning tax effect of additions made by AO and a relief of ₹172.82 Cr. • The AO had previously raised a demand of ₹249.27 Cr, which was stayed by ITAT. • The company will now file an application before the AO to give effect to ITAT's directions and delete the demand. • The ITAT has directed the AO to correct computational errors and grant set off of brought forward MAT Credit. • No change in status for litigation against key management personnel or promoter. • No settlement of proceedings has occurred.
