SOUTH INDIAN BANK : APPOINTMENT OF MANAGING DIRECTOR & CEO
• RBI has conveyed its approval for the appointment of Mr. Mahesh Muralidhar Pai as Managing Director & CEO. • The appointment is for a period of three years with effect from October 1, 2026. • Mr. Pai is aged 50 years with close to 3 decades of banking experience, currently serving as Chief General Manager at Canara Bank. • He has experience in governance, strategy, treasury, foreign exchange, retail, agriculture, and MSME credit. • Mr. Pai is not related to any Directors of The South Indian Bank Ltd. • The Bank affirms Mr. Pai is not debarred from holding the office of Director.
