NLC INDIA LTD : SIGNS JV AGREEMENT FOR COAL BASED THERMAL CAPTIVE POWER PLANT AT ANGUL
• JV with National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO) for development of a 4x270 MW (1,080 MW) Coal based Thermal Captive Power Plant at Angul, Odisha. • The JVC will meet the captive power requirement of NALCO's 0.5 MTPA Aluminium Smelter Expansion Project. • NLCIL and NALCO to hold 50:50 equity in the JVC. • JVC to execute a 25 years Fuel Supply Agreement (FSA) with NLCIL and a 25 years Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with NALCO. • Equity Shares to be issued at face value of Rs 10/- each.
