ANTONY WASTE HANDLING CELL LIMITED: NATURAL CALAMITY AT PCMC WTE PLANT

• Incident occurred at Waste to Energy facility at Pimpri Chinchwad, Pune. • A waste mound destabilized due to continuous heavy rainfall and collapsed onto the administration building. • Plant was undergoing a scheduled maintenance shutdown at the time of the incident. • Emergency response measures initiated with Fire Brigade, NDRF, Indian Army, Company officials, and PCMC. • Efforts underway to search for and assist individuals potentially trapped. • No immediate material impact on the Company's operations has been identified based on preliminary information.
