OIL AND NATURAL GAS CORPORATION LIMITED : APPROVES STRATEGIC PETROLEUM RESERVES DEVELOPMENT

• The Board of Directors has accorded in-principle approval for the development of 1.75 MMT capacity Strategic Petroleum Reserves • The project is of national importance and includes associated facilities at Mangalore (Phase-I Extension) • This is as per directives of Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas (MoP&NG) • Board also directed to take up with the Government of India for broadening commercial utilisation opportunity with associated regulatory support • Meeting commenced at 18:35 hrs and concluded at 20:35 hrs
