RRIL LIMITED : RIL STEP-DOWN SUBSIDIARY ACQUIRES 75% EQUITY SHARES OF SUMATI SPINTEX PRIVATE LIMITED
• RRIL to acquire up to 29,87,500 equity shares of Sumati Spintex Private Limited (SSPL) for an aggregate amount of up to ₹3.11 Cr. • This acquisition will increase RRIL's total shareholding in SSPL to 75%. • The acquisition falls within related party transactions, with common promoters and directors; transaction is at arm's length. • The target entity, Sumati Spintex Private Limited, is a manufacturer of yarn with FY25 turnover of ₹148.42 Cr. • Indicative time period for completion of the acquisition is by September 30, 2026.
