• Waaree Energy Storage Solutions (Waaree ESS) commences operations at its Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Container Manufacturing Facility. • The facility has a capacity of 5.15 GWh, an increase from the initially planned 3.5 GWh. • This marks the first milestone in Waaree ESS's 20 GWh manufacturing roadmap. • The facility is equipped with Industry 4.0 technologies, AGVs, and automated assembly lines. • It is designed for utility-scale and commercial & industrial applications. • Waaree ESS is building integrated manufacturing capabilities across lithium cell, battery packs, and BESS containers. Impact: Expands manufacturing capacity for energy storage solutions and supports India's clean energy ambitions.
