SHYAM METALICS : COMMENCES COMMERCIAL PRODUCTION OF ALUMINIUM FOIL FACILITY
• Step-down subsidiary SMEL Steel Structural Pvt. Ltd. commissioned its aluminium foil facility at Sambalpur, Odisha. • The facility has an installed capacity of 18,000 Tonnes Per Annum (TPA). • Total capital outlay for Sambalpur Aluminium Downstream facilities is approximately ₹800 Crores. • The project aims to diversify product offerings and address domestic demand for high-quality packaging and industrial foils. • Upcoming Aluminium Flat Rolled Products (FRP) facility with 60,000 TPA capacity is on track for commercial launch by end of September 2026.
