JINDAL WORLDWIDE LTD : COMMENCES OPERATIONS FOR ELECTRIC SCOOTER R40 IN JULY 2026
• Jindal Mobilitric, a subsidiary of Jindal Worldwide, will commence commercial operations with its maiden electric scooter, R40, in July 2026. • The R40 offers a claimed range of 165 kilometres on a single charge and is developed through in-house R&D. • The company expects to commence commercial dispatches from July 2026, subject to regulatory approvals. • An integrated manufacturing ecosystem in Ahmedabad has a capacity of 2.5 lakh units annually for two-wheelers and batteries. • The company has an order book of approximately 1000 units and aims to expand its dealership network to 100 in 12 months. • Jindal Mobilitric expects a turnover of approximately ₹100 crore in FY27 and ₹350 crore in FY28.
