TATA POWER : WINS RS 351.3 CR ORDER FOR PUMPED STORAGE PLANT
• Letter of Award (LOA) from Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) for providing energy storage service from a 324 MW / 2,592 MWh Pumped Storage Plant (PSP). • Significant terms include storage service for 40 years from Scheduled Commencement of Supply Date at an agreed fixed annual charge and cycle loss. • SECI will sign Pumped Storage Purchase Agreement (PPA) with the company subsequent to signing of Pumped Storage Sale Agreement with buying entities. • The company shall commence supply of storage capacity within 36 months of the effective date of the PPA. • Broad consideration includes an Annual Fixed Charge of ₹1.0841826 crore/MW/Year with an Annual Cycle loss of 24.61%. • Total Annual Fixed Charge for 324 MW capacity is ₹351.3 crore.
