HINDUSTAN ZINC INCREASES RENEWABLE POWER CONSUMPTION TO 22%

• Renewable power consumption increases from ~18% in FY26 to current 22% of overall power consumption • 530 MW round-the-clock renewable power arrangement to support transition towards 70% renewable power by FY28 • Clean energy adoption supports Hindustan Zinc's SBTi-validated Net Zero 2050 or sooner ambition Udaipur, 18 August 2026: Hindustan Zinc Limited has increased the share of renewable power in its current overall power consumption to 22%, up from approximately 18% in FY26. The company is progressing towards meeting approximately 70% of its overall power requirements through renewable energy by FY28. Hindustan Zinc expanded its round-the-clock renewable energy power delivery agreement with Serentica Renewables from 450 MW to 530 MW. These efforts form an integral part of Hindustan Zinc's broader sustainability roadmap and support its Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi)-validated decarbonisation pathway towards achieving Net Zero emissions by 2050 or sooner.
