TITAGARH RAIL SYSTEMS : EXPANDS DESIGN AND OPERATIONS CAPABILITIES
• Titagarh Rail Systems Limited (TRSL) inaugurated its new Design & Operations Centre at its Passenger Rail Systems (PRS) facility in Uttarpara, West Bengal. • The facility will serve as a hub for advanced engineering, design-led innovation and technology development, supporting Titagarh's growing portfolio across passenger rail systems. • The inauguration was attended by Shri Tapas Roy, Hon'ble Minister of Industry & Commerce, and Shri Arjun Singh, Hon'ble Minister of Labour & Transport, Government of West Bengal. • The company stated this step strengthens its in-house design, engineering and operational capabilities. • The centre aims to contribute to West Bengal's position in India's rail manufacturing ecosystem and supports the 'Make in India' vision.
