• VA TECH WABAG LIMITED signed contract for Doha SWRO Desalination Plant with Recarbonation System – Stage II in Kuwait • Order awarded in June 2026 by Ministry of Electricity, Water & Renewable Energy, Kuwait • Project value stated as Mega Project • Undertaken on a Design, Build, Operate basis by WABAG-led JV with HEISCO • 60 MIGD (272 MLD) plant using SWRO technology with Recarbonation System • Construction scheduled over 36 months, followed by a five-year O&M period • On-site Solar PV systems to meet part of plant's energy needs
