NATCO PHARMA : INVESTMENT IN EGENESIS, INC.
• Natco Pharma Limited is investing US$ 14 million in eGenesis, Inc. • Investment is being made through wholly owned subsidiaries NATCO Pharma (Canada) Inc. (US$ 9.5 million) and NATCO Pharma South Africa Proprietary Limited (US$ 4.5 million) via convertible promissory notes. • This follows a previous investment of US$ 8 million in 2024, bringing the total investment to US$ 22 million. • eGenesis is a biotechnology company focused on genome engineering for organ transplantation. • The investment aims to address the global organ shortage and transform organ failure treatment.
