TATA POWER : SINGAPORE INTERNATIONAL COMMERCIAL COURT DISMISSES CHALLENGE
• The Singapore International Commercial Court has issued its judgment on August 26, 2026, arising from a challenge filed by the Company to arbitral awards dated July 1, 2025 and August 27, 2025. • The Company had challenged the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) Court's decision dated June 5, 2025, rejecting its challenge to the appointment of two arbitrators. • The court dismissed the Company's challenge, holding there was no breach of natural justice or fair hearing rule. • The Company has 28 days from August 26, 2026, to appeal the decision to the Singapore Court of Appeal. • The Company will be filing an appeal within this period.
