HINDALCO : COMMISSIONS INDIA'S FIRST SUPERFINE PPT ATH PLANT
• Hindalco Industries commissioned a greenfield Superfine PPT ATH manufacturing plant in Belagavi, Karnataka. • The new facility has an annual production capacity of 30,000 tonnes, strengthening its Specialty Alumina portfolio. • The plant is the world's only specialty alumina plant operating entirely on renewable energy. • It produces PPT ATH, a high-value, halogen-free flame-retardant material for HFFR cables. • The facility is designed for phased expansion to 60,000 tonnes to meet growing domestic demand.
