DR. AGARWAL'S HEALTH CARE LIMITED : LAUNCHES WORLD'S FIRST PINHOLE PUPILLOPLASTY CENTRE
• Dr. Agarwal's Eye Hospital Limited, a subsidiary, launched the World's First Pinhole Pupilloplasty (PPP) Centre at its flagship facility in Alwarpet, Chennai. • The centre was inaugurated by the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Thiru. C. Joseph Vijay. • The technique, developed by Dr. Amar Agarwal, addresses complex corneal disorders by creating a pupillary aperture to improve vision without donor tissue. • The PPP Centre aims to enhance access and adaptation of this surgical innovation and will serve as a platform for training ophthalmologists.
