TATA CHEMICALS LIMITED : WHLLY OWNED UNIT ACQUIRES CUSTOMER CONTRACTS WORTH $21.16 MN

• Tata Chemicals North America Inc. (TCNA), a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Chemicals Limited, has been declared the successful bidder in the Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings of Searles Valley Minerals Inc. (SVM), USA. • TCNA will acquire North American soda ash customer contracts of SVM, representing over half million metric tons of customer orders through December 2028. • The transaction is subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions and other terms set out in the Assignment and Assumption Agreement (ASA). • The United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware has approved the assignment and assumption of the specified customer contracts from SVM to TCNA. • The aggregate cash consideration for the acquisition is USD 21.16 million. • The acquired contracts relate to customers located in North America and are expected to be serviced from September 2026 through December 2028.
