TATA CHEMICALS NORTH AMERICA : NORTH AMERICAN STEP-DOWN SUBSIDIARY ACQUIRES 100% CUSTOMER CONTRACTS OF SEARLES VALLEY MINERALS INC.

• Tata Chemicals North America Inc. has been declared the successful bidder in the Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings of Searles Valley Minerals Inc. • The acquisition is for North American soda ash customer contracts representing over 500,000 metric tonnes. • These contracts are expected to generate revenues exceeding USD 110 million through December 2028. • The transaction includes an Assignment and Assumption Agreement for a cash consideration of USD 21.16 million.
