AUROBINDO PHARMA LIMITED : Lannett Company LLC announces launch of generic version of Advair Diskus® in the US
• Lannett Company LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Aurobindo Pharma USA, Inc., has launched the generic equivalent of Advair Diskus® (fluticasone propionate and salmeterol inhalation powder) in the US market. • This is the first product from the company's inhalation pipeline to be commercialized in the US. • Advair Diskus® is indicated for the treatment of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). • The launch includes strengths of 100/50 mcg and 250/50 mcg.
