TATA POWER : EXPANDS RENEWABLE ENERGY CAPACITY
• Tata Power Renewables' utility portfolio scales to 12.3 GW; surpasses 7 GW operational capacity with commissioning of 100 MW project at Kayathar, Tamil Nadu. • 7 GW operational capacity comprises 5.7 GW solar + 1.3 GW wind assets; an additional 5.3 GW pipeline is slated for commissioning over the next 6 to 24 months. • Project advances solar innovation with India's first-of-its-kind FTC Single Axis Tracker deployment; powered by 261,660 Mono PERC bifacial modules. • To generate 240.63 MUs of clean energy and offset 1.5 lakh tonnes of CO2 annually for TP Solar, Tata Electronics and Tata Realty Infrastructure combined advancing the Tata Group's decarbonisation goals. • TPREL has successfully commissioned its 100 MW Group Captive Solar Project at Vellalankottai and Nalandhula villages in Kayathar, Tamil Nadu.
