HCLTECH : EXPLORES AI-POWERED TRAFFIC INSIGHTS WITH TRANSPORT FOR NSW

• HCLTech and Transport for NSW (TfNSW) have signed an MoU to explore AI-powered analytics for TfNSW's SCATS traffic management system. • The collaboration aims to integrate HCLTech's multilingual foundation models with SCATS, enabling traffic analysis in local Indian languages. • It will also explore local data sovereignty requirements, including on-premises SCATS AI infrastructure using private cloud environments. • SCATS, developed by the NSW Government, is used in over 200 cities worldwide. Impact: Strategic collaboration to enhance AI-powered traffic insights and data analytics capabilities for smart city infrastructure.
