BURNPUR CEMENT : NSE GRANTS NO OBJECTION FOR PROMOTER TO PUBLIC RECLASSIFICATION

• The National Stock Exchange (NSE) has granted its "No Objection" to the reclassification of Mrs. Suchitra Agarwal from Promoter to Public Category. • The decision follows an order from the Hon'ble Calcutta High Court dated June 12, 2026, directing exchanges to consider the representation. • NSE's 'No Objection' is in compliance with SEBI LODR Regulations, 2015, after reviewing the company's application and representations. • The company had applied for reclassification on August 5, 2026, after the Hon'ble Calcutta High Court's directive. • The NSE noted that no material has been placed on record by the listed entity to demonstrate that Mrs. Suchitra Agarwal presently exercises direct or indirect control over the listed entity.
