ALLIED BLENDERS & DISTILLERS : EXPANDS CAPACITY BY RS 115 CR

• Management Committee approved additional capital contribution/financial assistance of up to ₹115 Crores to subsidiary Minakshi Agro Industries LLP (MAILLP) for setting up a Malt Distillery with capacity of ~3 MN BL per year cum Maturation Warehouse at Aurangabad, Maharashtra. • Additional ₹10 Crores approved for MAILLP to meet cost overruns on previously approved projects. • Malt distillery capacity expansion planned for completion by Q3 FY 2028. • Project cost overruns are primarily due to increased prices of key metals and expansion of the bottling hall. • Impact: Capacity expansion to strengthen premium spirits portfolio.
