NTPC LIMITED: NAKHATRANA WIND ENERGY PROJECT DECLARED COMMERCIAL OPERATIONS
• NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), a subsidiary, declared COD of the second part capacity of 6.3 MW of Vanki Wind Energy Project. • The project is located in Nakhatrana, Kutch, Gujarat. • The declaration of commercial operation is effective from September 13, 2026. • With this, the total installed capacity of NTPC group stands at 91,086 MW and commercial capacity at 90,006 MW. Impact: Expansion of renewable energy capacity and contribution to overall group capacity.
