CESC LIMITED : VOLUNTARY INTIMATION – FIRE INCIDENT AT PANHATI DISTRIBUTION SUB-STATION

• A fire incident occurred at its Panihati Distribution Sub-station on September 13, 2026. • The incident was promptly attended to by the Company's emergency response and operations teams. • There were no casualties or injuries. • Approximately 80% of the affected supply was restored within two hours and 100% within approximately three and a half hours. • The Company has insurance coverage on the plant and machinery and the insurers have been informed. • Necessary measures are being taken to ascertain the cause and strengthen preventive measures.
