BHARAT FORGE : TO EXPLORE TURBOPROP ENGINES FOR INDIA'S HALE UAV PROGRAMME
• Bharat Forge and RTX's Pratt & Whitney Canada will explore turboprop engines for India's indigenous HALE UAV programme. • The collaboration will evaluate engine integration on India's next-generation high-altitude, long-endurance unmanned aircraft. • Companies will work together on integration of advanced turboprop engines into a HALE UAV program designed and developed by India's DRDO. • Collaboration supports India's indigenous unmanned aerial systems efforts under the Aatmanirbhar Bharat initiative. • Pratt & Whitney Canada will evaluate engine compatibility, performance and installation requirements. • Bharat Forge will lead engine-airframe integration.
