THE UGAR SUGAR WORKS LTD. : COURT ORDER RESTORES OPERATIONS AT UGAR KHURD PLANT
• Karnataka State Pollution Control Board (KSPCB) officials visited the site again following a High Court direction. • The High Court, on September 11, 2026, set aside the KSPCB's closure order. • KSPCB is instructed to conduct a fresh inspection during the crushing season and issue directions if non-compliance is found. • The Ugar Khurd plant continues to remain fully operational. • Court order document is awaited.
