MAZAGON DOCK : SIGNS MOU FOR GREENFIELD SHIPBUILDING INDUSTRIAL CLUSTER

• Company has signed an MoU with National Shipbuilding & Heavy Industries Park Maharashtra Limited (NSHIPML) to participate as the Anchor Shipyard. • The proposed cluster at Dighi, Maharashtra, envisages an annual shipbuilding capacity of at least 1.2 million Gross Tonnage. • This project marks a strategic expansion into large-scale commercial shipbuilding. • It aims to create a globally competitive maritime industrial ecosystem. • The Dighi project is significant for India's maritime ambitions under Maritime Amrit Kaal Vision 2047 (MAKV 2047).
