NLC INDIA APPOINTS NEW CHAIRMAN AND MANAGING DIRECTOR

• Dr. Prasanna Kumar Acharya appointed Chairman cum Managing Director (CMD) for five years with effect from September 17, 2026. • He assumes the role after being Director (Finance) and CFO. • Shri Sanoj Kumar Jha, who held additional charge of CMD, has handed over responsibilities. • The appointment is approved by the Ministry of Coal, Government of India. • Dr. Acharya brings nearly three decades of experience in power, mining, and infrastructure sectors.
