ASIANPAINTS : EXPANDS CAPACITY WITH VAE FACILITY
• The company has commenced commercial production of Vinyl Acetate Ethylene Emulsion (VAE) at its Dahej, Gujarat facility. • The facility has an installed capacity of 1,50,000 tons per annum. • VAE manufactured will be primarily utilised for captive consumption at the Company's paint manufacturing facilities. • Commencement marks a significant milestone in backward integration initiatives. • Construction of VAM manufacturing, ethylene storage and handling facilities is in progress.
