GK ENERGY: SECURED RS 42.84 CR ANNUAL REVENUE ORDER FOR BESS PROJECTS
• GK Energy Limited has received a Letter of Award (LoA) from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) for setting up 150 MW / 300 MWh of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) in Maharashtra. • The LoA has been issued under the utility's Tariff-Based Global Competitive Bidding for 2,000 MW / 4,000 MWh of BESS. • GK Energy has been declared a successful bidder for a total capacity of 150 MW / 300 MWh. • The project will be executed at a tariff of ₹2,38,000 per MW per month, resulting in yearly revenue of ₹42.84 Crore excluding GST, for a period of 15 years from the date of commencement of commercial operations. • This award marks GK Energy's entry into the BESS segment. • The company plans to expand its capabilities across solar pumping, rooftop solar, and distributed renewable infrastructure.
