CUBE HIGHWAYS : WINS ARBITRATION FOR CONCESSION PERIOD EXTENSION

• Walayar Vadakkencherry Expressway Private Limited (WVEPL), a project SPV of Cube Highways Trust, invoked arbitration against NHAI. • The arbitration was related to WVEPL's claim for modification of the concession period. • Arbitral award dated September 21, 2026, held WVEPL is entitled to a concession period extension of 1423 days. • The award also held that NHAI's recommendation of reduction in the concession period by 1.5 years is invalid and not binding on WVEPL.
