VIKRAN ENGINEERING LIMITED : WINS RS 153.76 CR ORDER

• Vikran Engineering Limited has secured a new order aggregating approximately ₹153.76 Crore exclusive of GST from Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID) • The order is for the 400 kV AIS Extension Substation Package SS-136T, involving extension of the 400/220 kV Tumkur-II (AIS) Pooling Substation and civil works for ±300 MVAR STATCOM at Tumkur-II (AIS) Pooling Substation • The project is associated with transmission system strengthening at Tumkur-II for integration of additional renewable energy potential of 2.7 GW • Vikran's scope includes design, engineering, manufacture, testing and supply of equipment and materials, transportation, unloading, storage, erection, testing and commissioning • The work is structured under separate supply of goods and supply of services contracts, with an overall execution schedule of 21 months from the date of issuance of the Notification of Award
