EASYMYTRIP : EXPANSION INTO ELECTRIC BUS MANUFACTURING AND OPERATIONS
• EaseMyTrip announces the debut of its electric buses from its electric mobility arm, Easy Green Mobility (EMTev), in Bhopal. • The company plans to manufacture 5,000 electric buses annually within five years as part of its Vision 2030 roadmap. • The initiative involves vehicle manufacturing, fleet operations, service support, and component localisation. • EMTev's initial portfolio includes a 12-meter electric seater coach with a 45+D seating capacity, LFP battery, and a range of up to 350 km. • Safety features include EBS and ESC, with camera-based monitoring and a centralized control tower for data monitoring. • EMTev's 12-meter and 13.5-meter electric bus models have received type approval.
