MTNL IMPOSITION OF RS 15 LAKHS FINE BY TRAI

• MTNL received an order dated 24.09.2026 from Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI). • The order is for payment of a financial disincentive amounting to Rs. 15,00,000/-. • This is for contravention of regulation 9 and regulation 10 of the Standards of Quality of Service of Access Regulations, 2024 for Broadband (Wireline) Service for the quarter ending March 2026. • Impact: Financial penalty imposed by TRAI.
