TVS SRICHAKRA : SHOW CAUSE NOTICE FOR ₹17.53 CRORE DEMAND FROM STATE TAX DEPT
• Show cause notice received from Deputy Commissioner of State Tax, Bhiwandi, Mumbai for Assessment Year 2022-23. • Notice alleges excess availment of Input Tax Credit in GSTR-3B vis-à-vis GSTR-2B for FY 2022-23. • Proposes demand aggregating to approximately ₹17.53 crore (tax ₹8.05 Cr, interest ₹7.78 Cr, penalty ₹1.70 Cr). • Company has submitted responses which appear not to have been considered and is evaluating the notice and filing a detailed response. • Company believes it has valid grounds for the matter.
